A removable polyethylene film (PE) is adhered to the material as part of the production process.*
* This film is provided to protect the material during roll-forming, delivery and installation. It is important that this film is removed as soon as possible after installation to prevent it from becoming brittle with heat and hence difficult to remove. Max indicative allowable in summer is 4 weeks and winter 8 weeks- however temperatures may differ year to year- so an immediate removal after installation would be the safest method. Archclad will not be held responsible for material where PE Film has been kept on the product longer than the above time limit.
Disclaimer: Slight colour variations may and can occur between different batches of material production. It is critical therefore to ensure that material for a project is all from the same batch.If this is totally unavoidable due to availability, any change of batches need to be planned on site to terminate at vertical corners or areas which are less noticeable such as hidden reveals etc. No responsibility to these variations will be entertained after material has been installed.
